Information we collect from children
When a Study Creator (“Customer”) wishes to include children as participants we require the Customer to certify that they have the parental consent for the child to participate in the study. We store the survey data from the study for the Customer.
Customers are provided with a unique URL to pages that house their survey. There is no advertising, promotions or marketing on the survey pages. There are no links out from the survey and there is no use of third party service providers on these pages. There is no tracking or analytics on the survey pages.
UserZoom collects user feedback and behavioral data such as user paths, click coordinates and survey responses, which are then aggregated to highlight broader insights rather than individual participants. UserZoom does collect audio recordings and video images of participants as part of survey responses but only when the Customer has the correct level of parent consent.
How we use the information collected
The survey data is solely for the use of the Customer and all information is confidential. No data is sold or shared with any other third parties and is collected strictly for the internal support of the Customer’s service.
How long do we keep the information collected?
UserZoom will retain personal data we process on behalf of our Customers for as long as needed provide services to our Customer. UserZoom will retain and use this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
If you are the parent of a child who has participated in a survey you may request that your child is removed from the study and their information deleted by contacting the survey creator or by emailing our Customer Support at firstname.lastname@example.org
For your protection, UserZoomdoes not collect or request confidential information or private data from its survey participants. By participating in the Study, you agree NOT to provide any confidential information or private data relating to yourself or any third party. Confidential information or private data is defined as any and all confidential personal information including but not limited to: your name AND (i) address information, including home address, business address, and telephone numbers, including cellular numbers; (ii) any and all personal identification numbers, including social security number, passport number, driver’s license number, taxpayer identification number, and commonly used passwords used by you or any third party; (iii) personally identifiable financial information, meaning any account numbers, PINs, passwords and/or information provided by an individual to a financial institution; or resulting from any transaction with the individual or any service performed for the individual; or any information otherwise obtained by a financial institution relating to an individual; and (iv) confidential health information, defined as information relating to the person’s past, present, or future medical condition, treatment, or payment for such care.
